VERY GOOD FOOD, GOOD SIZE PORTIONS, ERVICE WAS FINE, AMPLE PARKING, PRICES REASONABLE. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR.
Went to the PortHole this evening and was very disappointed. The chowder was like a potato purée with chunks of potatoes and tiny pieces of clams. You're better off opening up a can of snows clam chowder. It would definitely be better! The Baked scollops had way too much breading. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone... Service was terrible could not find our waitress.. Total meal 70.00 with tip 85-�
Had the Lobster Pie it was wonderful !! Lots of Lobster!! Love this place food is awesome !! Go every time I visit Boston!
Love the food and drinks at the Porthole. Prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food that you receive. Staff are always pleasant especially the bartenders, DARLENE, CORI, JOHN, along with everyone else. If your looking for a nice meal, head on over. Tuesday nights are Burger Nights. $3.00 for any kind of burger. Best deal in town.
WE celebrated my daughter in-law's baby shower there with food and it was great, everyone enjoyed it very much and said that they would come back to eat again at this place, especially the people that catered to us were very nice and professional. I live in Boston and will come back to the PortHole to have dinner.
$3 Burger night at the bar every Tuesday with live music from Tommy Smith

Well the Prime Rib was horrible!! Even after sending it back & prime rib was a special !! It was cold & over cooked
Very, very dissatisfied! Used to be such good food.....today not so much!
