Good food and great entertainment. Service is also good.
Porthole is always dependable as a go to for good honest food. The fish is always fresh. The staff, most of whom have been there for years, are friendly and helpful. The menu is diverse. My family and I have been going there for many, many years. The loyalty given to Porthole by customers is well deserved! Plenty of parking.
We've never had a bad meal here the wait staff is exceptional in the prices are economical what more could you ask for and they also have live entertainment it's the whole package
The waitress was great ! Food and drinks great ...
Julie and Judy was great as one would hope, and the fish and chips was to live for. I like the bowl and to bowl, but the cup of chowder was scrumptious. Eating is a blessing, remember to give thanks .
The grilled salmon was great! It had a light seasonal sauce which had an apple base drizzled over the top. Fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Would go again :)
Basically a regular now.All staff are great to us!
Was there Saturday and the Port Chop dinner was great as usual. However the waiter rushed the hell out of the three of us . He said that as we sat down to order quickly as they expected a large crown soon. Not my problem. He continued the rush throughout the meal. When he presented the bill we delayed paying for some time just to get some control over the situation. His tip reflected the service. Mush less that we usually give. Will come back again as this was most unusual. Always good food value here.
I was in the Function Room, not the Restaurant but the Food and Service was Very Good ! I live in New Hampshire but I will definitely try the Restaurant next time I am down that way.
