RecommendedI love this place! My dogs have been taken care of so well here. The compassion and love is very evident. We had to unexpectedly lay down our 5 year old lab last week, and I was so upset. They assured me they would not leave Max and stay with him until he passed. The vet technician, Courtney, was amazing! She cried with me, and it just showed her dedication to my pet. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would!
I had to put down my Puggle yesterday...what a dignified and peaceful end of life experience they provided my sweet Boy. I would recommend this hospital to anyone that holds their pet in the highest regard! Dr.Simmons-Resnick will treat you and yours with the utmost respect and kindness. Much gratitude 🙏🏻

I’ve been trying to find a great vet at an affordable price, and I found it at porters neck. I was so impressed with how caring and thorough Dr. Carrie Tatgenhorst was with Bella Billy’s exam and my vet assistant Brooke was so helpful and great with my German Shepherd. I felt really good about my visit after I left and will absolutely be back with the rest of my pup pack.

Let me tell you, When I moved here, they were the closest vet, so that’s where I went, and I’m so glad I did. When I rushed my American Bulldog Sheenan in (I had just moved here 2 months prior) and she died, and I didn’t know why, they did an exam and x-ray to give me answers and did it for free and they didn’t even know me then, they just knew they had a sobbing woman who didn’t know why her baby died.
