Horrible place to live. Floor was coming up when we moved in no lock on patio door which we told would be fixed no fire alarm in unit that was put up they were suppose to come back and do that the cupboards are peeling everywhere have hundreds of ants that we have been killing I am very clean person also seen couple cock roaches as well here and there. Maintenance takes months to get acknowledged and security lights are now off almost 5 full months. Repairs we’re supposed to be in progress since November but now almost April. The vibe of the building has changed with new management. Im uncomfortable walking around the property now. Management doesn’t care about tenants unless its a billing issue…often created by staff mistakes with contracts and hydro bills.One tenant got a $5000 hydro bill after four years of being a tenant. Skyline offered an amazing experience since the first contact we had. We started to search for new homes back in Brazil before we move abroad, so Francis guided us virtually on more than 4 visits in different units until we decided the one we rented now. All information, documentation and help were provided by him and his team anytime we needed. In the move-in day, all went smoothly with Kathy welcoming us to our new home. We highly recommend them!
We lived at Skyline Living on Portage Road for 2 years, and we are very grateful because, when we first arrived in Canada, they welcomed us. The apartments are comfortable, well-located, and pet-friendly, which we truly appreciated. The only suggestion we have is to clean the inside of the washing machines a bit more often, as they tend to accumulate residue. Overall, a good place to live. Thank you!
