One of the best sausage sandwiches ive ever eaten in my life. Lightyears ahead of any fast food chain. Absolutely worth a dedicated trip. Awesome staff too.
On this last day of June I met an amazing breakfast sandwich named Avocado Bacon. It was Love at first bite. Thank you Port City Coffee for making my first morning in Nova Scotia such a beautiful thing. I’ll be back for sure.
Updated Review (May 2022): The only changes that have been made at Port City since my first review have been for the better. Port City's staff, as well as it's food and drink selection remain in the upper echelons of Dartmouth cafes where they truly belong. Currently, the Alderney location has a weekly special on offer, the three sandwiches that have appeared so far are pictured below. The iced oat milk latte was absolutely delicious! We also liked the seed oatcakes. Delicious!
A humble place to get a coffee and a bite before or after a ferry trip. The bacon and egg sandwich was average. If you can get a window seat, then you can watch the ferries arrive and depart.
