The tacos are amazing. There are four different tacos that I like. Good margaritas too. Would recommend going during the week, as the lines can get really long on evenings and weekends.

Tasty Food, Great Atmosphere – There's a lovely worn-in feel that Por Que No? has established, despite the fact their Hawthorne location has only been there for a couple of years. Around dinner time, a line stretches out the door, embarrassing any nearby restaurant. Is it just a trend? No. It's really tasty. Very disappointing – A fun atmosphere, but the food was lacking! Very bland and overpriced. My carnitas were so dry it was like eating straw. The margarita was very watered down. I will not be returning. Where is the good authentic Mexican in this town?!?!?!?!

Too bad. – My husband and I have gone here a few times. The last time we called to get take-out and they told us they couldn't put rice and beans with our $50 order of tacos, because their rice cooker was broken!!! Had they ever heard of pot and pans??

Por Que No - Why not to go – Por Que No is the perfect place to eat if you have the appetite of a super model. If you do not have that small of an appetite, do not dine there. The quality of the food does not make up for the pathetic ration of food you receive. Another con is their suggested tip on the receipt (15, 20, and 25%). That is absurd considering the length of the wait to order and that you have to bus your own table. Get your head out of the clouds Por Que No.

quick and yummy – The food is yummy. The service was quick enough. My toddler enjoyed eating a big bowl of rice and beans, I enjoyed the pollo asado porque plate. The guac isn't spectacular. The simple salad on my plate was tasty. My mom enjoyed the special tacos of the day which were some kind of shrimp. Honestly, there is a reason there is a line out the door, other than that people like to stand in line. People like to eat good food.
