I bought an in ground pool from Pool Town in Southgate last year and they were great through the whole process. The package they sold me fit my needs perfectly. The installers they arranged did an amazing job as well. During and after the install process, whenever we had questions, Gary, our sales person, was quick to help. We are very satisfied with our purchase and would recommend to them to anyone looking for a pool.
Went there on July 2nd. Needed a part for our pump, which you had, but the person behind the counter was not very knowledgeable about the pump. All he kept saying is "we don't sell Hayward so we don't know about them" When I asked if there was a way to look up the pump to see how the part fit to make sure it was correct, he told me "I don't know but you can look it up at home." I had no problem buying the giant pool, the frog package, and heater. Over $6,000 - so now almost 3 months later I am still being told "next week" we will get your pool installed. I have talked to the Manager 3 times and was assured he would get somebody to install it... Still waiting ... BUYER BEWARE.

Hi Jennifer. We greatly apologize for the delay on the installation of your swimming pool. Unfortunately, we do not install pools and rely on outside contractors to get the job done in a timely fashion. Although the pool builders do a great job at building the pools, there just aren't enough qualified builders out there to keep up with the demand in the area on a hot Spring/Summer. I can assure you that we come to work everyday and do our best at making sure that our customers are extremely happy.
My dad went to Pool Town in Taylor about a month ago and bought a pool. He then waited for them to get the pool in the store so he could get it put up, he was angry because he was never told they didn't have it on hand. They contacted out guys to put it up for him. After 4 missed appointments and never calling to cancel he was angry. Then men finally showed almost 2 weeks later. The guy wrote him up a bill stating he would be back WITHIN 48 hours to finish. He is now not answering his phone and we have no idea when the pool ... read more

Hi Ashley. We greatly apologize to hear about the issue with one of the pool installing companies. We've made some phone calls and it sounds like the builder was injured on the job the other day and is currently out of commission. We're trying to get in touch with him to get the issue resolved right away.
