I was hoping this place would become a new fave; sorry to say it won’t. My carnitas were very salty as well as the so-so beans. I think the tortillas were Mission tortillas from the store. Sorry to say huge disappointment, won’t be going back. It’s similar to places in Old Town-for tourists.

Loved the mani margarita The rolled potato tacos Betsy and other staff were great!!! Only bummer is the scraping of the chairs and street noises... that’s just my stuff Highly recommend this place!!!

The bar tenders and other staff at Ponce's are awesome. Great family atmosphere and delicious food. I enjoyed meeting new people, some from out of state and some from San Diego.
If you live or visit San Diego Ponces is a MUST! Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere is the best! If you love margaritas or want to try one you’ll love order the PERFECTO because it’s just that Perfect! Enjoy all!
