Taylor Morrison is not a builder I would recommend. I have had my home for less than a year in stepping stone poinciana Fl. They also have an association here Evergreen that is the worst. They make every excuse not to assist with any issues and pass of every issue to Taylor Morrison which then passes it back to Evergreen. Sales reps pulled bait and switch tactics. They tell you whatever they want to get you to sign and close, then they never back up what they say, because the contract says otherwise. The customer service is terrible and they never own up to their mistakes. Management was even worse customer service. Zero understanding or empathy. Stay away if you can. We purchased our home in 2017. Its been nothing but problems. I guess we should have seen the following coming while the home was under construction. Before construction was complete the contractors left the upstairs windows wide open allowing rain to get inside the house and wet the walls and carpet. Polygon (now Taylor Morrison and the same warranty people work there) put fans in the house to dry it. We thought this was an isolated incident so we moved forward with the purchase. Extremely disappointed with the customer service of AV Homes/Taylor Morrison home builders! We were ready to contract to build with AV/Taylor Morrison with Brock the sales manager for Amelia Walk and Kingsley Creek. We wanted to build our dream home with the Anniston model with the additional bonus room. We also used our own realtor to help with the purchase. Savvy Homes, which is now AV Homes has been horrible when it comes to fixing their substandard work. We have had multiple issues through the last few years of buying this newly built house and every time was a fight to get anything resolved. When we bought this house, the builder's warranty covers only the first year, which is when any problems must be reported. We purchased a home from Savvy in March of 2016, when we did our walk through before purchase we filled out a punch list, that to this day is still not complete. We contacted Savvy several times via email, and website to get the punch list finished, but we were told to wait for the 10 month walk through. 4 montths in our wall oven stopped working, when we finally got an electrician out to the house the wiring was melted in the wall and had to be replaced. STAY AWAY!!! We moved into a brand new Savvy home over 2 months ago. Within the first 3 weeks we found a substantial leak from an unreachable area. The leak caused damage to our wall where we then noticed another leak seeping through the wall itself. Here we are, over 2 months later, and our walks/leak has still not been fixed. The warranty department for Savvy is a complete NIGHTMARE. Use your hard earned money on a different builder.
We move into this Savvy home in 2015 and there have been non-stop issues/complaint with this house. Savvy customer service is terrible!!!!!!! They make excuses and attempt to make you feel like a NOBODY. Latest complaint was the shower hot and cold water lines not being installed correctly. They did not want to hear it stating "your house passed inspection",. On or about 09/11/17, Mr. ****** called the warranty department leaving a message stating that he was in the process of changing his bathroom from an insert to a tiled shower enclosure, and that the plumbing was not flush.
