Do The Waitresses Work For Tips? – Strolling in for a late lunch should have been a hassle free dining experience, except for the horrible waitress who couldn't be bothered to actually be professional and help us. She didn't appreciate us asking to sit in the window, and took our order with even less interest. best brunch in the city – this place is great for a weekend brunch. highly recommend the skillets and their huevos rancheros. burgers are excellent too.

?void this restaurant – Polkers has the very worst service I have ever experienced. I lived a few blocks away and would have liked to eat at this restaurant often but no restaurant is worth horrible rudeness from the waiters. I even sent a letter of complaint to the owner but got no response. So, I guess they don't care. There are long lines on the weekends - but I don't know why. There are so many good restaurants in SF why bother with this place?

ABOMINABLE customer service, don't even bother with take-out either – I live above Polker's Burgers - literally - so I pass it every day and have eaten there many times. Not because I love it but because of convenience, hours, extensive menu, and my immense capacity to forgive bad service. Stay away – The worst service, long lines, rude waiters. The food is not worth it. I was treated really rudely. People were served ahead of me when I was ahead of them in line. I was there early and there were tables available so it had nothing to do with tables available for larger parties. I don't ge it. You can get better service and food at Rex across the street.
Great Breakfast!! – The food is always great at this neighborhood joint and you can't get meals at this price anywhere else in the area. The breakfast/bruch can't be beat...especially the omlets, but in all honesty you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is friendly and relaxed.
the best burgers in town – i eat there 3 times a week and i can't get enough the prices are good and the food is the best i have hade everything on the menu and it is goooooood. i recc, them especialy for brunch
