Having recently taken up yoga, I was a beginner who tried out several studios before finding this one and making the decision to give it a go. Poise is a lovely, calm yoga studio that is suitable for beginners. I learned some techniques that I didn’t learn at some of the other studios, sometimes the stretches can be kind of repetitive to what I did at another one, but this one was different in that I learned things that I have not learned at other yoga studios.
Shayla is amazing!! The yoga class was a full sensory experience with nice lighting, sounds and aroma therapy. It was so relaxing but also challenging and helped me work on my balance and strength. I left feeling so calm and peaceful. Shayla is truly a ray of light and her knowledge of health (as an RN) and wellness is impressive. She was so sweet and also very professional. I'd highly recommend taking a class or workshop with POISE.
The wellness space is perfect, and the vibe is Divine. Shayla P. is so wonderful at this; she's kind and gentle and also super motivating. At our couple's session she pushed us to try new things, opening up the possibilities of what we can do individually and as a couple. We feel stronger on the mat and stronger as a team! With love & gratitude <3
