We visited with family that I rarely see in late June and loved Poe's decor and vibe. However, I have Celiac disease and have to be careful with foods. I asked our server Molly if there was a way to cook a burger on a cookie sheet or foil in an oven, as I cannot have anything cooked on a grill due to cross contamination. She went to ask the cooks and expeditor (long blonde hair in a ponytail). Have to say- I've been to Poe's before and have always enjoyed it. Tonight was an exception, hopefully not a new trend. Service was very slow (understand food takes a while and small kitchen, but actual waitress was missing for large chunks of time). When the food came, my burger was at the wrong temperature and so was my mom's (orders were inverted). My fries were cold and clearly not fresh. No ketchup on the table and I was nearly done with my meal by the time my waitress brought any to me. Had to ask twice. Definitely not... read more
