BBVA has disgusting practices and horrible offshore customer service who mislead and do illegal business. My husband and I had three accounts with another bank that was bought out by BBVA. We no longer need these accounts and attempted to close them today. We called BBVA and spoke with representatives in an offshore call center. I asked to close my accounts and was told that I couldn't. Then I was told that the representative could not mail me a check for the balance on the account. My husband was told that he could close hi... read more

My experience with PNC was beyond ridiculous. I started a refinance in January, 2021. My Mortgage Loan Officer asked for many documents and we gave him everything on time. We were supposed to combine a home equity and a 30 year mortgage into a 15 year mortgage. The rates were good and it made sense financially. We looked up the numbers together and it was agreed we could combine both things together and I would get 9K cash out at closing. The week before closing he stopped answering my phone calls or emails. 3 days before cl... read more

Thismonth (beginning of june) they told me a check ive been cashing there for 5+ years from the same checkbook looks "too irregular" thus they would not cash it. Tellers were rude and sucked at communicating. Traveled... read more

I will never work with this company, again and no one else should, either. On several separate occasions, this bank has failed me. Within the last week, they've failed me two times:1. Attempted to increase my daily ATM limit to pay a contractor to fix my central air unit. According to the customer service rep, my limit was increased for 72 hours. When I went to withdraw cash from the **** this was absolutely not the case...2. Simple (who I originally created my account through and was ecstatic with) closed and BBVA absorbed ... read more

On four occasions, it has taken an upwards of 14 weeks to get a new credit card mailed to my correct mailing address. It seems BBVA has a poor system of tracking client address changes across all of their online portals. BBVA agents are unable to view and confirm a current mailing addresses to ensure my new cards are going to the correct address. The first time my card was sent to the incorrect address, it took three phone calls with different agents to figure out the issue. My card eventually made its way to the correct add... read more

BBVA Compass Bank is awful. I called on May 11, 2021 to inquire about my debit that was due to expire June 2021. I was informed by a customer service representative that a card would be sent out in a few weeks. On May 25, 2021, I called back to inquire due to trying to order an item via online and had a hard time due to the merchant keep saying your card is due to expire. **************** rep informed me that I was good and still had time. On June 23, 2021, I called and spoke with a representative; I requested to speak with ... read more

When my auto note is paid off I'm outta here. Since I've even with **** which hasn't been long, it has changed hands several times. Now it's PNC. The main reason I give it 2 stars is because of something 8 received from PNC in an email. The email was a survey. No big deal right? Well, as I took the survey it came to a question along the lines of "do you/did you or immediate family work for a radio station etc." In a nutshell asking if anyone you are related to worked or works in the mass communication field. When I said yes,... read more

BBVA intentionally opted former Simple customers into $3 a month paper statements without their consent, knowing full well there are a number of dormant/low balance accounts that will be hit with $38 overdraft fees once their "courtesy fee waiver" inevitably expires. This was a calculated decision by executives who knew that a given percentage of these new Simple customers that BBVA has absorbed will be hit with these fees and have to pay them back for fear of credit repercussions. BBVA is doing this to their new customers! ... read more
