This bank is awful. They charge a fee for everything. $3 paper statements that you have to turn off manually. And they charge you $32 fee for every transaction that is returned if you don't put your account on overdraft protection. Which is not 100% guarantee that you will not be charged a fee because the bank will allow certain transactions to go through against the overdraft protection. I was with simple been absolutely 100% free no fee and they sold their accounts to BBVA I was charged $180 in fees,I don't use this accoun... read more
So had to cancel my debit card due to fraud charges on july ********************************* on thur.. thur came and went so called again talked to a new person and they said no the following thur and I was told wrong info.. so thur came and went and card never came. So I ended up going to a bbva by my work and the lady (assistant manager) said they have a shortage or whatever on cards and the people on the phone were wrong.. then a teller tells me he will order me another card and that it wont effect my card thats still co... read more
I was a simple bank customer. They had zero fees - including zero overdrafts. They sold to BBVA, which then (a few weeks later) sold to PNC bank. I have been moving all my transactions to a new local credit union and left eight cents in the account at (now) BBVA. A $1 charge from an old subscription came through and they assessed a $32 overdraft fee, even though I had at no time opted into any overdraft protection. The 2010 *************** declaration expressly made it illegal to assess overdraft fees to customers who have n... read more
If I could leave negative stars I would. I am just going to give you a time line of the process of me attempting to receive a replacement debit card and I know they are going to respond with some context about there being an issue with the company who prints the cards, which I can understand in the current climate BUT the issue isn't such. The issue is the **************** or lack there of!!!!! They misinformed me, misguided me, been anything but helpful and flat out lied numerous times! July 21st - misplaced my debit card, ... read more
I am beyond upset at the sheer incompetence and the abjectly horrible customer service I have received from PNC Bank; for the past three months I have been desperately trying to get copies of bank statements from 2016 as I need them for an IRS audit. I can’t come into a PNC branch as I now live in California and there is not a branch office within 1,000 miles of me. I contacted PNC Customer Service, and was told that I needed to send a written request to the Channel Services department; I sent a letter requesting the stateme... read more

They lie and falsely advertise. One of their loan officers admitted they get continual complaints about lying and "misinformation" from customers. I'm appalled! They lie about annual fees, whether or not your guaranteed a fixed rate, and the list could go on. It's disgusting that they get away with not misleading their customers but straight up lying and running a shady business. Stay far far away from this place. Although I assume most of their customers were forced into PNC after a car or home purchase. Lying is only one o... read more

PNC is the most idiotic mortgage company ever! The county changed my road name so my home address changed. It's like this has never happened before and threw PNC in a quandary. I sent proof of address changed time and time again and they still couldn't get it. It took months of harrasing letters! Finally they got it changed. Oh, so now the mortgage we owe is now going to a different address and sending me threats of not having insurance now. My insurance company kept sending them proof of insurance multiple times, and I stil... read more

********* in *******. The way you will be treated at this bank depends on how much money you have in your account and how it is ran!
Awful place to bank with. I originally opened my account with Simple who I was more than happy with their customer service. But the transfer over to BBVA has been nothing short of a nightmare. It's difficult to get ahold of anyone they are hard to understand no matter who you speak to. My account had some fraud on it and I got locked out yet I also got locked out of my online banking and there are zero branches in my state, so before they would do anything for me I had to send in a copy of my ID a selfie and some other infor... read more
