I wish I could leave fewer stars. My mother has been banking with PNC for years, and I have an account there myself. Over the past few years, my mother's health has declined. She suffers from Alzheimer's Dementia and lives in a nursing home. Naturally, I call and make an appointment to have my POA for her submitted, so that I can handle her financial affairs. I have been trying to get in touch with BBCA Compass for over three months regarding my PPP loans. I get transferred overseas to representatives that not only have no idea how to do their job but could careless if they help you or not. For a company this size you would think they would have a better understanding of customer service. I will no longer do business with BBVA Compass.

The BBVA response is absolutely and utterly absurd and misleading. I stop responding only recently then I decided to stop doing business with BBVA after 8 months of them doing anything but working on my application. They still wanted me to give them permission to use my data for their business.
I went into this bank to make an auto loan payment for my son who was behind on payments on his vehicle and was in repossession status. I sat down in front of the teller and told him i was making a payment in the amount of $1,980.00 in cash. I told the bank teller that I wanted the repossession contract cancelled, because the tow truck is sitting outside my son's work and i don't want to make this payment and then you turn around and tow it anyways. Recently we did a refinance of our current loan from bbva with bbva assuming it would be more streamline and efficient. We also wanted to roll our escrow into the new escrow since it was close to the end of the year for property tax payment. Well none of the above happened. We applied for refinance middle of September and did not close until January 8th and our escrow was absorbed into the loan somewhere leaving us with a tax ****, which should have been paid from our escrow. These people have NO CLUE - They tried changing my phone number for 10 days just so I could make my payments. UNBELIEVABLE -HORRIBLE SERVICE - Canceled card and will not be back - DO NOT USE BBVA
Avoid this bank like it's the plague!!! The worst customer service, they can sure take your money but will not provide customer service or account statements. Then after your loan is paid off they still take money that they are not supposed too causing even more problems on your end. AVOID THEM even though they will give you a loan it's not worth the headache!! They're are WAY more banks that treat you like a human being. PNC doesn't even deserve 1 star rating!!!
Terrible company. Terrible service. Doesn't answer the phone. Doesn't answer email messages. **************** phone number isn't open when it says it is. I call during business hours, but it says it's not open. They froze my credit card because there thought there was fraudulent activity (there wasn't). I can't even get ahold of anyone to get them to unfreeze the card. Worst bank/credit card experience I've ever had.

I have called the fraud department on numerous occasions. I have waited on hold for a representative for a number of hours now. I have never spoken to a human being in that department. I did receive the voice-mail. I called back 5 minutes later, waited on hold for 35 minutes, and then gave up. It is impossible to get ahold of a human being in the fraud department at BBVA. I can verify that all the charges on my account are accurate, but alas, there is no one I can even tell that to.
I made a grave mistake listening to someone to try BBVA. I truly feel that being a client has no benefits for me. I should have done my research. They pend..posted balance..available balance..really confusing. I feel that its unethical to allow me to open an account..then tell me I can't have a credit card because I live outside their footprints. I find this to be a discrimination. As I stated. Prior yo March they didn't pay all transactions. If a hold was released..they still charged a fee..until I called. My transactions aren't in the order in which they were made. BBVA is like a new born to me. Ive never experienced such banking. Most institutions allow an overdraft limit or set amount. March 9th and 19th. I had transactions released by **************** and **** has no record of either. I'm not perfect..only God has that title..but confused yes.
