I'm not surprised by all of the negative and low star reviews of PNC Bank. I have been a customer for about 50 years and I had a problem with $325 in fees I was charged on a checking account. It was about a balance limit that I didn't meet. It's my fault for not catching it sooner, but I don't look up my account very often, and the bank should have reached out to me long before I discovered the problem. Awful bank BBVA is what happened to the Simple in terms of banking like Simple was. Been with simple awhile never ever did I have any problems. So go throughout my day 11am message I'm over drawn. I get paid that day for the last year and half every week and never had issues. So I dug more and found out this crazy logic which by the way is deceiving and theft towards customers! If I could give zero stars I would! My bank transitioned from Simple to BBVA and it has been the worst experience by far. I have been hung up on multiple times by the automated services. I was not able to create an account, and I still do not have access to my own information. This transition has been awful, and I will definitely be opening an account with another bank. BBVA has not even attempted to resolve the issue or reach out to customers regarding the problems preventing people from accessing their funds/accounts.
The Simple transition has been a disaster. I couldn't setup my new online banking and now the lines are jammed so I can't talk to anyone.As soon as I can access my accounts I'll be switching to a new bank. I miss Simple.
This bank is still charging insane overdraft fees throughout covid and has not refunded any of the bank fees i have incurred as a single mom i. welfare this bank is a predator
Horrible company. If i could give a negitive number i would. Ive called 9 times now to get a copy of my title to register my car. 6 days left i still dont have that copy. All i need is an email of it and no one can do there job. What a complete joke of a company. Im taking my loan elsewhere, im done.
I had been a Simple customer for 5 years before they were closed and my accounts were transitioned over to BBVA. The transfer process was extremely disruptive, and they wouldn't let me create my online account at BBVA. I kept getting a system error. Then when I called the Simple transition help number they provided an automated message told me they are experiencing difficulties and disconnected me. My car was picked up and repo'ed so i called to settle with the **** bank, they told me i had to pay $1450 in order for the account to be current again and the car, the towing yard info and towing yard location would be released to me upon payment, i was told i had till 5 p.m. the same day to pay, so i gathered the money and made the payment.
