Took *********** loan out in 2018 and managed to pay it off the first week of February 2021. Received bank statement for February 2021 showing loan paid and a zero balance. On June 3rd, 2021 during a refinance process on our home, the refi company advised loan still showed PNC as lein on house deed. Horrible service. Locked my account for fraudulent activity and wouldnt unlock it even after I provided proof of transactions. Now Im behind on bills for 90days after another investigation is being done.I dont know what Im going to do as far as far as living arrangements. I asked them to not allow withdrawals from vendors and they approved that but vendors are still withdrawing my money and when I called cooperate they still continued to let them withdraw out of the account. First of all this "bank" doesn't deserve even 1 star. Deserves NEGATIVE 10 STARS! Unfortunately my bank, Simple was taken over be BBVA and closed on May 8th...... I still can't access my account at Bbva. I call and upon answering the call reps immediately say that they are unable to look up account information to try back again in about ***** min. Cant access my money! I opened my simple app this morning only to learn the company no longer exists. It instructs me to install a completely different app and signup for a complete different account. The problem is I no longer have access to my simple account to see my account numbers and things. I called support and the only way I can start the process is if I tel them my social security number (which is a nonstarter for me.) I just want my money out of this crappy bank but can't get access. Like everyone else, my transition from Simple to BBVA has been a total nightmare. These follow up posts are obnoxious. I'd love for BBVA to post how many times I've called since May 11th, every CS rep I spoke to and for how long I was put on hold each and every time. Today's call alone was upwards of 4 hours and 11 different reps, not counting every day leading up to today.Apparently, my issue is resolved (blocked account, no way to access money). I will not recommend anyone to bank with BBVA. On April 26th I reported that my account was compromised and all my funds were stolen. The bank and fraud department did nothing to help me and consistently denied my fraud claims. In fact, the first agent **** that I spoke with accused me of stealing my own funds. When I asked to receive a credit the representative stated that they simply do not have the funds to just credit to my account. I’ve been a PNC customer for years. But my recent experience with their Customer Service was so bad that. I will be going to another Bank. It started with a calling to PNC Customer Service because my present debt card was going to expire and I haven’t yet received my new card. So, the customer service person. Wow, where do I start? This company took over my previous bank, Simple on 5/8. Prior to that, I had attempted to get my money out of simple and switch banks, but was not allowed to access my funds. This wasn't BBVAs fault, but it was aggravating. Fast forward to 5/19 and since the transition, I have been trying to close my account and transfer funds, but NOTHING has happened. Worst customer service , constantly system down issues. impossible to speak to anyone that can answer your questions. They charge you to deposit ******** currency. What is this industry coming to, where is the pride and integrity of a real business. I have since closed 7 account with this bank.
