I banked with PNC Bank for some years as a means for a local bank. I opened 3 accounts, 2 accounts belonging to my 15 and 17 year old sons. My 15yr old was recently in contact with someone on snap chat that sent him checks to his email. The person on SNAP asked that he deposited these checks and provide them with a percentage of the funds. I've had PNC for 12 years, and just recently made the switch to Chase. They have TERRIBLE customer service. They take advantage of people during a pandemic, and I'm currently sitting on hold for going on 3 HOURS over a simple issue. Should have made the switch to a different bank a long time ago. Please save yourself and never open an account to begin with.

I opened a credit card with them in December due to the $1000 signup bonus. Now the company is saying the bonus is $600 and refuses to honor the promotion. Other people who opened the card at the same time I did received the full $1000 promotional bonus

Dealing with PNC was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Please read this review before considering them as your money holders. I wrote a check for a down payment on my new car for $10,000. I figured this would send red flags to the bank when I did it, so it was no surprise when they sent me an email alerting me of the transaction. The money came out of my account and a couple of days later it was returned to my account. I went in to a physical branch the next day to verify that I was the one who signed the check. If could give it minus 10 I would. Is this a real bank that rudely hangs up on customers with.legitimate concerns like where the heck is my.money? Clueless....big mistake on my part

PNC used to be a great bank. Years ago when we open a PNC ago, we LOVED it. Over the years, as PNC grown larger, it has continually become more "corporate" like Chase and less concerned about its customers account security and satisfaction. As a result, I've suffered loss recently at the hands of PNC's carelessness. Sadly, I will be leaving PNC in the near future and do NOT recommend it as a bank.

I called back on January 12th to get access to my online account and they said they had to send me a pin by mail to get on my locked up account and I was like ok, well it never came so we just mailed in the payoff amount we had gotten on the 12th (with a 15 day per diem). Well they still hadn't received it by the 29th so I called and told them we would do a do a stop payment on that check and pay over the phone since It was clearly lost in the mail. Worst banking experience I've ever had! I had to wait 2 weeks for my check to credit to my account! And it was a check from the ******************* so the funds are guaranteed by the state! Finally the day I had been told the funds would be available they weren't! I called and was told the next day they would be available. 15 days to make funds available for a check deposit is ridiculous! I will be closing my account first thing in the morning!
