Avoid this bank like it's the plague!!! The worst customer service, they can sure take your money but will not provide customer service or account statements. Then after your loan is paid off they still take money that they are not supposed too causing even more problems on your end. AVOID THEM even though they will give you a loan it's not worth the headache!! They're are WAY more banks that treat you like a human being. PNC doesn't even deserve 1 star rating!!!

This is the absolutely worst bank I've ever had/heard of. Their customer service took over 3 days to respond to messages. I ended up closing my account and they wouldn't give me over $110 of my remaining balance. All of their claims are false and it's not worth your consideration.

It would be helpful if the call center understood English. I have called to get information 3 times, and to date, I have been given 3 different answers without any follow-up as promised. We are a car dealership trying to pay off the loan for a customer, and have paid the requested amount BEFORE it is expected and each time I am told that someone owes more money. Poor customer service, poor practices, and in my opinion, exceedingly shady practices. I will never invest, or do any business with this bank.

Business response:

The 10 day pay off for the vehicle was obtained and paid in the 10 day period. We called to check on the status and was told we owed an additional $84, which was delivered to BBVA the next morning at 9:12 am. We called, again, to check the status of our title and was told there was an additional fee. When I asked what that fee was, I was told I could not receive that information, when BBVA had cashed both of our prior checks., i believe at a minimum this is faulty business practices. I personally will never choose to do busi... read more

Terrible company. Terrible service. Doesn't answer the phone. Doesn't answer email messages. **************** phone number isn't open when it says it is. I call during business hours, but it says it's not open. They froze my credit card because there thought there was fraudulent activity (there wasn't). I can't even get ahold of anyone to get them to unfreeze the card. Worst bank/credit card experience I've ever had.

Business response:

I have called the fraud department on numerous occasions. I have waited on hold for a representative for a number of hours now. I have never spoken to a human being in that department. I did receive the voice-mail. I called back 5 minutes later, waited on hold for 35 minutes, and then gave up. It is impossible to get ahold of a human being in the fraud department at BBVA. I can verify that all the charges on my account are accurate, but alas, there is no one I can even tell that to.

I made a grave mistake listening to someone to try BBVA. I truly feel that being a client has no benefits for me. I should have done my research. They pend..posted balance..available balance..really confusing. I feel that its unethical to allow me to open an account..then tell me I can't have a credit card because I live outside their footprints. I find this to be a discrimination. You don't hace a set overdraft limit. Months go by they dont pay ovetdrat..this month Im losing almost $1000 due to excessive fees. Unlike others... read more

Business response:

As I stated. Prior yo March they didn't pay all transactions. If a hold was released..they still charged a fee..until I called. My transactions aren't in the order in which they were made. BBVA is like a new born to me. Ive never experienced such banking. Most institutions allow an overdraft limit or set amount. March 9th and 19th. I had transactions released by **************** and **** has no record of either. I'm not perfect..only God has that title..but confused yes.

PNC has refused to release funds in my deceased parent’s account. My parents left a trust to specifically avoid the nonsense PNC bank has put my family through. I have produced the original trusts- two large volumes in person at a PNC branch. I have produced copies of the wills appointing me trustee. I have furnished copies of the county’s filing of the wills. I have produced my attorney’s letter of fiduciary, A small estate affidavit from the state has been provided to PNC. My lawyer and I have provided a letter of indemnif... read more

Moving on from this review, I fully intend to take it to the press. I'm a widower. All of my immediate family has died within four years of losing my spouse. My brother had the poor judgement to open an account with this "business" (I won't credit it with the title of "bank") for his mortgage, here in Texas. In the middle of all of this loss, I made repeated attempts to speak with their 1-800 line. I will not credit it with the title of "customer service" as they have NEVER, in the multiple dozens of times I have called, pro... read more

Worst Credit Card ever! I paid the Card off June 2020. Had not used it since. Had a bunch of fraud charges in January 2021. Called and reported. Claim was filed. Couple of day's later more charges. They did not shut the Card down until I called the second time. Ok investigation was done took about a month. All is well so I thought. In the meantime $4.56 had accumulated in interest from the fraudulent charges that I did not make. Called again. Was assured that it would all drop off at the next billing cycle. Ok great. Next **... read more

Business response:

That is correct, you removed the fraudulent charges but you charged me $4.52 in interest on fraudulent charge accumulation then added $5.23 in late fees for transactions that I did not do. Then when I called for 5th time and you said you where going to fix it you dropped my Credit line from $1,100 to $500. That is when I closed the Account because now you are messing with my Credit score which dropped 4 points because of what you reported to them.
