I've been visiting Dr. Whiteman and his team since I moved to Boston for college about 7 years ago. They have been the most honest and understandings (with respect to finances and fears) dental team I have ever worked with. I had a crown made yesterday. The most amazing thing was that afterwards there was absolutely no swelling and no pain. It was like I hadn't been to see the dentist at all. Although the procedure takes awhile, because the crown is made and custom-fit while you wait, the actual work goes quickly. The priority is on ensuring that the tooth is prepared correctly and the crown fits perfectly. But your comfort is never far from the minds' of Dr, Whiteman or his hygienist. It has been fast, extremely professional, excellent results. The new crown feels just like it has always been there. The great advantage for a patient is that beside all common dental services and procedures Dr. Whiteman performs more complicated ones like tooth extraction, root canals, implants himself in the office. I so appreciated the patience and understanding the entire staff showed during my visit. I have struggled with anxiety over dental care for >15 yrs, which kept me from visiting a dentist for the past 10 yrs or so.
