King of the Steak Houses – Plaza III continues to please and is truly a Kansas City institution. Be hard pressed to find a bad meal.
Pricey Plaza III (3) – The Plaza III is by far the best steakhouse I've been to in Kansas City. It is not for the thrifty, but you get what you pay for. The quality of the food is second to none. The ambience of the restaurant invites you to relax and enjoy the entire dining experience. Best Steak in Midwest – Plaza III has the best steak I have ever had, above and beyond Jess and Jims and Herford house, Plaza III is tops. Cooked to perfection and it was served at the perfect temperature. Unfortunatly I do not have the pocketbook to visit here often, but the food is worth the price.

Best steak around – After a couple of wonderfull experiences at the Plaza III, my wife and I realized the one downfall of experiencing these great steaks. Now everytime we order "steak" listed on a lesser restaurants menu, our pallete remembers the Plaza III, and the ordered steak just doesn't satisfy as it should.
What were you eating? – Plaza III is a waste of money. They are over priced and their "claim to fame" is pathetic. They marinate their steaks in what? Nothing. They age them for 20 days or so. They soak in their own juice and have absolutley no flavor when brought out to you. Then if you ask for a sauce, i.e. A1, they look at you like you are crazy. The way to determine if it is truly a good stake is if you can eat it without any sauce.
Creamated, yet tender. – Though one of the most expensive steak venues in town it is the best. Food has always been prepared to perfection and this is one of the few establishments that knows how to cook a steak to a medium-char or "Pittsburgh" style. Cudos!!!!!!!
One of the Best in the Country – By far the best steak and atmosphere I have ever been around. I have tried hundreds of steak houses and this is by far the best anywhere in the world.
Plaza III is Perfect – We extremely enjoy our dinners at Plaza III. The steak soup is an excellent beginning, the steak or fish is always delicious and we haven't had a bad dessert yet!
