The staff at Playground is very attentive, but the main attraction is obviously the food! They play with textures and create flavor profiles you'd never think of yourself.
My favorite restaurant in OC. This is the best kept secret around.
The food was excellent, my first time there. Had my birthday dinner there with some friends and we chose to have dinner omasake style ... there are so many things on the menu I wanted to try and this way you leave it up to the chef & server to pick for you ... highly recommend!
Being new to the area for the evening, we were referred to the Playground by a local. It seems to be a hipster bar but the food and drinks were ah-mazing! And our waiter Jarred is fantastic! It was awesome to find out he is local to our hometown! He was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond to accommodate my husbands cilantro allergy and limited diet. Definitely an A+ on a whim.
If you don't love it here you should stay home and never go out. Creativity, service,food quality and freshness are all too notch. Bartender Jordan is a breath of fresh air and is actually passionate about what he does. We'll be back very soon for more of his cocktails!
The food was outstanding! The staff was very attentive! They went above and beyond. Jordan the bartender was passionate and knowledgeable, an employee anyone would be proud to have! I highly recommend you stop by.

I have been to many high end and specialty restaurant and most are great. This restaurant unfortunately is all hype! Very over price for the quality. Ultra sweet pork chop! Greasy fish!
