RecommendedDr. Platz took care of my cats and dogs for 23 years. I tried to get him to move to the Lansing area but couldn’t get him up here. He is the best.
I've been to a good handful of veterinarians over the years as I move often, but none struck me like Platz did. They quickly and perfectly diagnosed my beloved Lucille's issue and administered treatment at about a third of what I walked in expecting. The way they all talked to the other patrons and the love and familiarity was incredible. I will be taking my animals here as long as I live within reasonable reach, and recommend them above all others at this moment. Wonderful people through and through.
Absolutely wonderful staff! My dog is never scared to go there, because he knows how lovely they all are. Great place you can trust.
...Two weeks ago, our 15 year old dog Raja was very sick. Platz Animal Hospital was able to get her in to see her, as a new patient, on a Saturday. Dr. Gabe was very caring and thorough and the staff were so kind and genuinely caring. A phenomenal experience during a very stressful time. Raja is doing much better and has bounced back completely and we owe it all to the great care provided by Platz Animal Hospital. Thank you all so very much.

It was with a heavy ❤️ We took our old sheltie there to cross the 🌈 bridge. The staff was so compassionate & supportive, it was amazing.
We brought our first dog here in 1995 and moved to Long Island. Now we are back in Grosse Pointe and we brought our current dog Daisy here. They are very helpful, compassionate and accomodating. We have lots of choices in the area, but feel Platz is the best. Our dog was recently hit by a car and they saw her immediately.
Absolutely the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. My pets have been patients there for over 15 years, because I know that every doctor in the practice has the same level of skill and compassion. They will never push unnecessary & expensive tests or procedures and will help you keep costs down if that is an issue.
