RecommendedWe have had many a pet going through their doors (cats & dogs)! Sometimes things were routine and sometimes less than favorable, however, no matter what the case was these doctors and their staff were always knowledgeable, had lots of patience and empathy, and took their time with us as well as handled each of our fur babies with the love and concern that you would want them to. Even cried with us at times!!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else at this point!!
Dr. Tyler Armstrong is amazing with our cats, Simba & Zazu! We took them in for their yearly checkup and he remembered them and us from a year ago! He is personable and made effort to get to know us. His staff is also very friendly. We won’t take our animals anywhere else & highly recommend the team at Platte Woods Animal Hospital!!

I have been very impressed with Dr. Tyler. He is knowledgeable and takes time to explain and answer questions. I brought one of my dogs in yesterday for check up. He personally called me the next day to tell me all the test results came back good. In my experience Doctors. typically only call when the news is bad but he called with good news. What a nice surprise. Thank you Dr. Tyler!
Dr. Ron Armstrong is very compassionate and takes time with you so you understand what's going on. the staff is very friendly and they make sure you have everything you need. thank you for taking care of our kitties.
Piss poor Customer service and no compassion from the staff. We were turned away 20 mins before closing because they didn't want to be bothered or inconvenienced. there were at least 8 people standing around behind the desk but they were all concerned with leaving at closing time. We had to go to another clinic (picture hills) the service there was awesome. they took our cat in gave him an exam, xray, shot of lasik and a prescription that ultimately saved his life. Been going since 2006, love it
Never thought I could find a better vet then Dr. Ron Armstrong but Dr. Tyler Armstong is super also! What a great team and family! One of the things I really like about this group is I have never felt they have tried to oversale me on services or products. They are there because they truly care about animals and not the bottom line. Thanks for being so caring and knowledgeable!
