I needed to board my dog for a day but my dog was overdue for rabies shot. I went to my regular vet who had walk in plus appointments. They did not have any appointments available. We waited over an hour before leaving. I drove two exits north to PW animal hospital. They were very compassionate and fit me in immediately. Dr. Bruce examined our dog administered the rabies shot and did a heartworm test. We were out the door on our way in 30 minutes so I could board the dog and meet the serviceman at my house.
RecommendedI will start coming here from now on. Even with curbside service the techs were so professional and nice. Dr. Tyler Armstrong called to tell me specifically everything that was going on with my dog. I cant say enough about this place. If I could I'd give 10 ☆!!!

We just had our first vet appointment with DR. Tyler we absolutely loved it! The staff was wonderful and very informative! We definitely recommend this clinic and will be back!
The vets and staff are incredible! They treat our fur monsters like family and care about their well being. We’ve been going here 9+ years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
They took care of our cat and met the the two vets and they are very clean, smart and awesome. Thank you so much for taking care of my cat. I wouldn’t know what to do without the platte woods animal hospital.
Everything! Very thorough care. Grooming is wonderful. I've called with various questions when my dog is having problems and they tell me home remedies. I get reminder texts when shots are due. Everyone is very friendly, happy, and upbeat. AND THEY TREAT MY DOG LIKE A LITTLE QUEEN!!!
Amazing group of people! Our doodle had to have surgery followed by an extended stay. PWAH cared for him like he was their own. We were able to visit with him daily, and the doctors always knew his status and had a plan for his care.
They treat my little baby like he’s their own!!!
