Decent clothing, not too bad of service. Very very packed so I get too stressed and just want to leave and makes it hard to actually find clothes. Also they NEVER take any clothes to buy which is so annoying and kinda ridiculous.
Plato's Closet brags about all the great clothes they have. Well, I bought some great clothes there months ago and then had a pretty substantial weight gain. I took the gently used clothes back to the Ithaca store and was told the same clothes I had bought there were now "too mature" and wouldn't be worn by younger people. All I have to say is, HUH???
Love this store!!! Love the selection of clothing that I wouldn’t be able to get first hand, the pricing is really decent for brand name items. I’ve gotten LulaRoe brand new with tags for a quarter of the price from a consultant.
I'll start with saying my girls love this store! Me? Hate it, so much is over priced for used items. The staff is not pleasant at all... not a single one have ever been. My daughter was in today and was never spoken to until she was told the total for her purchase, that's beyond rediculous to me and I won't go in with my girls because of that and because the music is so loud I can't think and the perfume smell is too strong!
I shop here wayy more than I should and it's starting to become a problem. Don't get me wrong I love some of the things I find but it's very disappointing when I go to wear it for the first time and notice that it's ripped. I've had this problem several times. Also I bought a pair of clearance uggs which said a size 8 on the sticker so I didn't try them on even though I should have because the sticker was wrong and they were actually a size 6. I'm sorry your experience at our store was not as expected! Unfortunately we have very strict rules to follow from corporate, so we are unable to take clothes unless they are in a specific condition. We are also very sorry about the poor quality of the clothes after purchasing them; sometimes our items get damaged after being on the floor for several months. Hopefully next time you come, you'll have better luck buying and selling! Once again, we're very sorry. 😌
