Very rude and poor customer service. We walked in after going to Pescaraz. We didn’t have our masks on because we had just got done eating. Instead of being friendly and explaining the mask issue. The worker immediately said “You don’t have mask? Sorry you can’t shop here.” In a tone that indicated she didn’t want us coming in, mask or not. Just by glancing around, several other shoppers didn’t have a mask on and weren’t being asked to leave. In addition, most workers weren’t even wearing their masks correctly. Brought in relatively nice clothes today, including Patagonia, adidas sweat shirt and Levi jeans that were bought there prior. They DID NOT take any of it. Did not give me a good explanation to why they didn’t take any of the clothes, even though they were clothes listed on the “need” list on the door. Would not recommend taking any clothes here, you’re better off selling it on Amarillo Buy Sell and Trade.
This is literally one of the only places my husband and I shop at! We love Plato’s closet because there’s always a different variety to choose from. :)
I can’t speak to the consignment aspect of the store, as I usually just donate my old clothes instead of try and sell them. However, for someone who doesn’t want to splurge on every clothing item this place is perfect! I tend to wear my things from Plato’s more often than what I’ve bought at a store! Very fashionable and affordable
