This place is a fuckin joke. Telling me my brand new stuff was “child size” and out of date. Idk who decides what is in style or not but it’s a joke. I drove over 30 mins to bring stuff and they didn’t take a damn thing.

I have come here and loved this place until this last time. As a college student, I have cleaned out my room in Blacksburg and back home at different times and have then brought things here. This past time though, they told me that they couldn't take many of my items because I have come often and some of my clothes have tags on them. They made me feel very uncomfortable and seemed like they were accusing me of stealing and then bringing clothes there.... too bad I've never stolen anything in my life. RecommendedI love, love love this place! They honestly have the BEST selection of clothes, shoes and accessories of any place I have ever shopped. I buy and sell there all the time. I find that they are very fair with the allowance they give for items being brought there.They are always very kind and helpful. The quality and prices can't be beat. I will also say that I have traveled all over and always check out the local Plato's Closets in the area. This one in Christiansburg is the very best.
I came in to sell a pair of boots that I’ve never worn before, so obviously they were in great condition, and they only gave me $4 for them. I also waited an hour for them to check them when they told me it would be 5 minutes. Terrible service and most things in there were terrible quality. Definitely would not recommend. It’s better just to drop off at Goodwill.
This place is a rip off, I wouldn’t recommend selling your stuff to them
I drive from Marion to come to this store to buy and sell. We are 1hr+ from here and the JC/ Kingsport stores (so not a PC close in any direction). I brought in 7 big bags of nice clothes worn once or twice, so i know they are in almost new condition. an hour drive with my whiny 5 year old to get less than $25. And the people working were very unfriendly, and didnt even offer to help me carry my items back to the car like at the other locations. The girl just said "you can make another trip."
