Have some of the most Dingy looking clothes but will “pass “ on yours for wear definitely pick who they give money too
Yesterday I went in to buys some clothes. My three year old had to use the restroom & we were turned away & told to go next door... naturally it frustrated me & I decided not to frequent Plato’s Closet anymore... even thrift stores have facilities to regulate your waste, how can I spend money in a place where my child can’t even use the bathroom??

I was very disappointed in this platos I have been to alot of locations in nj and pa. this location had items with alot of wear. no designer brands and just plain dirty.
Getting real ridiculous what they offer back and what they actually sell.
This place is terrible, I had never been before and gathered up quite a few bags of nice items...including designers coach, Tory Burch, Levi’s, lucky brand, ( all brands they SAY they LOVE on their website mind you) and I brought them here after an hour I came back to pick up my money after they reviewd my items and they did not take the Tory Burch shoes, the coach rain boots or ANY of the jeans or shorts I brought in, they said they couldn’t give me the value of what the designer items would be worth, well then why do you a... read more
After my last experience there....I’m over it. The whole point is to get rid of gently used, trendy clothes and yet I was told they wanted something ‘newer,’ 2017 was the year I was given. It defeats the purpose, that’s only two years ago, I’m never going there again.
Don't waste your time! They don't give you nearly what your items are worth, yes they need to make money too but then to turn down a top name brand item but have an item sitting on the shelf stained and ripped, pshhh.
