This office seriously needs better training and empathy. As a new patient, I had no idea about their extra requirements, which is why I did the right thing and called ahead due to running late from an unexpected traffic accident. Instead of clarifying anything important, the staff told me, “As long as you’re here by 10:30, you’ll be fine.” I arrived at exactly 10:29–10:30, only to be immediately turned away because I was new, there was “no time”, and hadn’t filled out paperwork. From the beginning, my experiences with this office were very poor. I reached out initially to get information from them on their process for IUD insertion. They outright refused to share any information. Once I did go in for my appointment and I shared additional information with the doctor, she blew me off entirely and did not schedule the IUD removal and insertion. Would not recommend as an OB
Do not go here for HRT or menopause. They advertise that they have knowledge in this field but they do not. Look at the menopause society for someone who has experience. I have gone to Platinum Women's since I pay a lot for PPO insurance and this is where my insurance recommended. I will now have to pay out of pocket for menopause help as this place does not help with either HRT or menopause.
Was not listened to at all, my first and last visit to any platinum women's office. I explained my long history of excruciating menstrual pain that has me throwing up, passing out, and going to the ER. I asked for a permanent solution, not pain management. I basically was told there's nothing I can do about it and no one in California is going to help me.
