world class This is such a treat to have across the street from my job! Easy access! But I was on the way to lunch and referred by my boss, how could I not give it a shot? Everything is automated, they have a great referral system to earn free tans, and the beds are state of the art. Not to mention they have all sorts of booths, and give you tanning lotion each time you go. I forgot to mention their decorations inside and out, it's fabulous. Compared to anywhere else, its probably actually cheap here!
Their airbrush tan is awesome! My goal for last summer was to get a decent tan before hitting the beaches and clubs but with my work schedule and other misc stuff it just didn't look like it was going to be happening for me. I had heard mixed reviews about artificial tanning methods and I wasn't big on the idea of the tanning bed option and I wasn't even sure I could fit it in my schedule. My favorite So far the best tanning salon I have been too. I am a frequent san diego visitor and every time i come down I must visit this place. Platinum Tan has a unique formula that works perfect with my fair skin and gives me the healthy glow tan that I had always look for. The salon is super cute and service is great.
great Cheap, no frills (clean) tanning. Stand up booths (which is all I want anyway). Really nice staff. Convenient hours (open until late).
Pricelesss I went back for an airbrush tan, and loved it! Emily is very professional and friendly. It's always kinda weird to stand almost naked in front of somebody, but she is great at making you feel at ease, instructing you exactly what to do, and educating you on how to make your tan last. They customize the color of the airbrush tan so you don't have to worry about looking unnatural. My tan looked great, like I had spent the weekend at the beach. Not one streak, and not one hint of orange. Great!
great! Best tanning salon ever. The girls here are always wicked nice and more than willing to help you or answer any of your questions. They are attentive to the fact that if you are pale skinned (like myself), they suggest you do a specific time, rather than me going the full time and burning the hell out of myself. I haven't tried the spray tans or the airbrush tans, but I've heard both are great. Their hours are extremely convenient as well. Definitely go here for all your tanning needs. Best place in San Diego!
LOVE THE AIRBRUSHING!!! Had the most enjoyable experience ever with my spray tan. I needed to get color for a wedding and they helped me out. Christina was amazing-perfect color. I looked like I just came back from Maui. No smell and natural looks. I also was able to bet my eyebrows waxed. Thank you Platinum Tan & Spa.
Platinum Tan is poppin` This place is worth the drive from anywhere in the city. It is the cleanest tanning salon I have ever seen. The employees are always friendly even 20min before close on a Friday night. The prices are great, I have the unlimited membership but all the memberships are awesome. Once you come here you don't wanna leave.
Platinum Tan is awesome! I gotta be honest, I have never gone in a salon to get tanned before. This was my first time getting tan inside a salon. I thought it would be so awkward, I did not want to go at first but my girlfriend found some really great coupons online and she dragged me with her.
