I had a good response from getting an appointment to having someone out to replace a warming drawer on my new stove. Ed came out first to assess the problem then replaced it with a new part ,thank you! Timely and efficient.

I purchased a washer / dryer 18 months ago. I had registered both with Maytag. I reached out to Maytag with an issue concerning a small crack in the lid of my washer at the time . I was told I needed to use a factory authorized service provider and was given the name/ number of Platinum Factory Service. I reached out to schedule service online. If there was any other factory service outfit that Whirlpool/AIG would refer me to I would use them without hesitation. This outfit is not customer centric.. They work on their own time without regard to customers needs or desires, They take weeks to schedule visits and then can NEVER repair the appliance on the FIRST visit. I have owned a Whirlpool dishwasher since 2017 it has been repaired by Platinum 6 times 3 of them for a defective soap dish. On August 4th, Platinum Factory Service sent a tech out to service our Kitchen Aid electric range that was still under extended warranty with Lowes. The "burner on" light had quit working, and it was important to me since I have very bad balance and an iffy memory because of my advanced MS. The tech was very nice, found two parts that needed to be ordered, and left without leaving any paperwork. After reading prior reviews, I’m wondering if I am dealing with a different company. A totally positive experience. First, they do a great job of accurate scheduling, allowing you to see the technician’s schedule and progress through the day. Second, their technician, Howard, was polite, knowledgeable, addressed every issue with my Whirlpool fridge and even took the time to order a part that I hadn’t initially requested and was optional. The tech Shane B started out by being rude and sarcastic. I informed him while he was repairing another part on the washer that our washer was still leaking from the bottom. He states if he can’t see it then that is what he will report. Before he leaves he tries saying because my husband washes he’s probably overfilling and using too much soap. I showed him what was in the washer which was 12 small like items not even filling it halfway. Then showed him we use only the small side of the cap showing less than a tsp of soap. H... read more

I have never seen a company with such poor customer service and total disregard and respect for their customer. Washer purchased from Lowes 9/20/2020 broke at Christmas. Scheduled appt via Lowe's warranty and this was the repair company sent 1/6. When they came to my home, no contact information for Platnium Factory services was provided. We were told 4-6 weeks for parts for washer and then would be scheduled for install appointment. Company did not contact us regarding any difficulty obtaining parts, delaybor any update. **BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY** Spoke with Rachel at the phone number that was provided and she was the rudest, most condescending person I have ever dealt with. She insisted that they called me when the appointment was made which they did not. I received an email to confirm my appointment, which I did and figured I was all set. I missed a call from the tech which came up SPAM RESTRICTED on my phone which in itself is very unprofessional and he skipped over our house because I missed the call.
