The first time my husband and I went here it was OK, the dentist is nice. The problem I have with this company is one person at the front desk, Evalyn (which is also the dentists girlfriend or wife) she doesnt seem to care about keeping customers happy. I had an incident where I needed to reschedule my appointment and the lady I talked to on the phone was very nice, she rescheduled me with no problem, she also failed to inform me that there was a 24hr notice policy and I would be recieving a bill for $170 for the two missed ... read more
I support bosconavy review, I have a same nightmare with her, Evalyn. She doesn't care about customer at all, and being lazy with lots of lies. She will lie to you right in front of your face, and make you feel lost. Dentist is ok, and other staff are great compare to her. But if you have to deal with her, then you open the can of worms. Stay away!! I honestly believe that all these good reviews are fakes to cover the truth. This dental office is a scam and a den of thieves. I will be contacting the BBB with this review as well. I went to this office with my 2 older children. Dentist and staff seemed nice enough at the beginning. After the exams started I immediately felt something was wrong. Exams were REALLY short. My experience was as terrible as my children. I went in with a toothache and needing a cleaning. He took a couple minutes, did some X-rays, measured my gums (took only a couple seconds and one measurement per tooth which I though was weird). Then determined not only did I need MASS scaling and sizing, but a handful of other work that included several crowns and root canal.. What? My husband had been going to Platinum Dental in Oak Harbor, for years until this year. He stopped going because of poor customer service and the way they took advantage of him. They refuse to give our money back, $490.50 for dental services they have NOT given to my husband. I went in there today to ask for the money back and was treated extremely poor. This office really takes the time out to go above and beyond with every patient. I was seen here due to my tooth being cracked they took their sweet time with me. The girls at the front desk were really sweet and helped me figure out my insurance. I really just like the fact that nobody seemed in a rush to go home. In the past I have been to other offices and if I go in with an appointment (not talk about emergencies) I always feel like I'm being rushed for everything. Definitely not the case with this office. I was afraid that the dentistry would hurt because of a past experience with a non experienced dentist. Dr Lai knew exactly how to make the whole experience comfortable and smooth. He is highly experienced and knowledgable. I've been seeing dr Lai for several years. He was born to be a dentist.
I had the best dental experience here I have had in a long time. Everything from staff to the actual dental work procedure was excellent! I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
