High Quality I found the staff very professional and helpful. Dr. Shanks seemed to be a very qualified dentist. He took a lot of time and explained everything in a way that I could understand. overall a very pleasant experience.

Emergency Root Canal I began having pain in a tooth over the Thanksgiving holiday and left a message with the office asking for a quick appointment. Received a call back at 7am on Monday morning, saw Dr. Shanks at 11:30am for an evaluation and at 1:30pm I was back for a root canal. I very much appreciate getting this done quickly. The only thing that would have been better would be an emergency phone number that I could have used when the office was closed. I would have paid extra for an after hours appt. The staff at Northside Family Dentistry is always nothing less than excellent. They're thorough, friendly and efficient. The focus of that practice is on preventative dentistry whenever possible, but when problems arise that need attention, the patient is always given options for treatment. The level of expertise is readily apparent and evidenced by state-of-the-art equipment and the well-trained hands that use it!
