The last 2 times that I have been here, I sat outside. First time, the waitress never served us water. We received our main course from a different server before we ever got water. And then when we finally saw her, she brought one water for a table of 2... Then we proceeded to not see her at all for the rest of the night other than to pick up the check. Had a fantastic dinner at Plata Cocina (Silver Kitchen) this evening. The ambiance was popping positive and the place is quite popular. The lovely hostess sat us in a nice booth and Esteban our server was fantastic. He was assisted by Alexis. We started with chips, salsa and you bet, margaritas. We went to Plata in Thousand Oaks last night to watch the USA World Cup soccer game, and I have to say—it was an incredible experience from start to finish. First off, the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s newly opened, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design.
