The staff is always very capable and friendly. I always have a clean and comfortable experience.
Always nice to make an appointment at YOUR earliest convenience only to find the place so full there's 5-8 people standing at any given time/waiting 10-20 minutes just in a seat, and have to wait an hour to get called back to wait another 20-30 minutes to probably have to have em dig the needle around your arm a while before it's your idea to just "hey... Maybe call that one quits and try the other arm, otherwise I'll leave and only get 5 bucks for the pleasure" I'm sure employees don't make half enough, but the company lite... read more
It's insane that you get deferred 3 times and you can never come back. I've been deferred twice now months apart over blood pressure / blood count levels. Not to mention, I've saw them recheck other patients blood pressure, yet they won't ever recheck mine a second time. I'm just automatically deferred. So if it ever happens again I can never come back? Over blood pressure??? It's not like I came in and did something wrong and crazy to get deferred. Grifols Plasma Donation Center in Owensboro, KY lied to me on the cellphone, told me that my first donation doesn't require mail as proof of my address, and had me walk a total of 5.6 miles for nothing. Their employee by the name of Amanda or Amaria, a short and stocky woman, even sneakily took my picture and banned me from donations, because I share a bathroom and kitchen with others.
