It was the year 2010. It was time. Time to get rid of the lawn and embrace a drought-tolerant front yard with indigenous plants. And it would be cool to have a "blue" theme to go with our new roof. Scott redid our landscaping in 2017. Minor work in front and major overhaul in rear, in conjunction with the hardscape contractor, rerouting sprinkler lines and installing plants per architects plans including a severe 50 foot bank. Scott made recommendations along the way regarding native plants that would do better than some recommended by the architect and executed the job without a hitch. Scott is a marvel of plant knowledge and landscape know-how. He knows everything about fruit trees, which he cultivates and grafts himself, as well as expertly plants and prunes. He is terrific at troubleshooting what's going wrong in the garden, and I've brought him in to consult on an ongoing basis as my new California native garden takes hold.
