I have gone to a lot of the PPs in the area and everyone is always so kind. Yesterday I came to this location specifically for an IUD placement. I did wait 45 min to be seen but they let me know as soon as I checked in about the wait so I didn’t mind. Shoutout to the NP who did my procedure- she talked me through the entire process and was so patient with me when I began to panic. The girl from the front desk even came to hold my hand. I went in on a week day, mid afternoon. It was easy to get checked in and I waited maybe 5 minutes before going back. All staff were friendly, clear and made me feel comfortable being there. I got my Nexplanon (birth control) removed and it was quick and easy. I would recommend this location in the future and will be back for regular health screenings (like my PAP). Thank you to the staff and Planned Parenthood for being there when I needed it 🫶🏼
I am absolutely devastated as someone who has constantly advocated for and even raised money for planned parenthood to witness my partner being denied care because they don't offer gender affirming care to cisgender individuals I guess. My partner came in with multiple concerns about his health wanting to have some bloodwork done and was told before he even made it to see the physician that they don't offer that in the intake.
