Amazing food and service. Highly recommend.
Used to be a great place, but ended up leaving after sitting for 15 or 20 minutes and not even being asked for our drink order. There was only one other couple inside besides us and maybe three couples outside, so not a question of being busy. Maybe we didn’t give off enough of a Chicago vibe to merit any attention. Only positive was the hostess was friendly. Definitely won’t be in a hurry to come back.

Plank's has a very extensive selection of cocktails and beers and their food is fantastic. if you order the avocado and salmon I recommend sharing since it is a very large serving and a shame to waste it.
Super slow service, even when not busy... Sat down and waited 10 minutes before seeing a waitress for a coffee, staff was not very friendly. Not a good way to start the day after paying $395 for a room the night before.
Dinner was good but it was kind of hard to get past such bad service. Sat there for 12 minutes before we flagged hostess down and inquire as to who our server was. While our server was very personable when we finally saw her, we still had terrible service. Food was ok and they did comp our glasses of wine but after several misfires we will not be back to Planks. This is actually 4 strikes and you’re out 🥴
