This place is awesome. Staff are friendly, it rarely gets too crowded, parking is easy, and machines are well maintained. I’ve been to a lot of planet fitness locations and this is my favorite. A few of the negative reviews make no sense. The idea that other patrons harass you, as one reviewer claimed on no evidence, is ludicrous. Or that it is not well maintained. Chill vibes uniformly and new machines.
This definitely one of the smaller PF locations crammed into a strip mall in one of the busier intersections in Studio City. The parking is an issue, and you count on snaking around the lot behind patrons of the many shops here looking for a spot. The gym itself feels busy even at 25% capacity because of its layout. Love this gym!! The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The gym is clean, the bathrooms are clean, and the weights/equipment are kept in order. Managed well. Five stars guys - keep up the good work. Happy to be a member!! Thank You!!
The Morning front desk (Alex and Lucy) are the best part. Everything else is downhill from there. Do you like NO a/c and water that is warm enough to make tea in? Then THIS is the gym for you! And don’t even get me started on the bathrooms…
This one is my favorite in Los Angeles county. I was looking for a rest area in the black card spa. Some planet fitness black card spa's are really done nicely. The lighting is dim, glass door entrance with a couch, TV and even a coffee table. This one is the closest to a chill black card spa. The gym itself is on the smaller side and that brings the people closer together which is nice. They also have a meditation booth which I haven't seen before. It's unique to this particular location.
