Not Impressed – These people either need to stop accepting new clients, or get more equipment. Appointments are never available and when I do get an appointment I almost always have to wait 10 to 20 minutes past my appointment time because the appointments are always running "late". They over selll and underdeliver.

TERRIBLE - NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! – I totally agree with some of the reviews that I just read. I had a very bad experience with this location and I will NOT recommend anyone to step into this spa. I went there through the Living Social Deal and was surprised to be first of all forced into buying the $25 cream, which I still do not know why it was required. Completely Unprofessional – I have been to many tanning salons before, but my experience at planet beach was NOT what i expected. The other locations have much more professional staff. The manager is completely unprofessional. Not only does she not look professional, but she IS unprofessional. Cursing in front of me and many other customers, and very rude to me. PLANET BEACH IS FROM HELL – I too bought a living social deal and am very unhappy with it. First of all it was overly booked so after the meaningless consultation, i was told to sit and wait for my first session and enjoy the new oxygen machine (that i still can't figure out what its suppose to do) for 20 minutes (the machine was done in 10). finally i was taken into the hydro-derma room and the girl said after each session she would lightly knock on the door and come get me to take me to my next session but right now she wa... read more

Would not recommend this location or spa – I bought a deal from Living Social for a treatment package at Planet Beach Contempo Spa. The $39 deal included 3 massages, 3 luminous facials, and 3 hydro-derma fusion treatments. It seemed too good to be true…. and it was. The staff who helped me at the Houston Westheimer location on 2/1/2012 at 6PM were unprofessional and inexperienced. love this place!! – i have a friend that has been a member at Planet Beach for years now and she would always tell me about the facial. She had a blood vessel pop in her forehead and it left a nasty bruise. She started doing the facial more and after about a month, you could barely even see it. If you didn't know about you wouldn't think anything even happened. After this I went in on a day pass wanting to try it out for myself and after 1 sessions i could feel a difference. Scam Artists – They only have one thing on their minds... money. All they are worried about it getting everyone to sign a contract. If you don't, good luck trying to book an appointment. Most of the girls that work there are just texting the entire time and not providing good customer service. BEWARE of the manager, she will push and push you until you sing up for a membership. Frankly, $80+ a month for MACHINES to provide "spa services" seems a little crazy. Spend your money more wisely and else where.

Houston's Best ALL IN ONE Stop! – I love Planet Beach! I know that is so un-original. But honestly, I do! I have been to my fair share of tanning salons and what-have-you's in my life time, heck, I even grew up having a tanning bed in my house and I even worked at a salon when I was in HS. Nice place, not many openings for spa services – I really enjoy Planet Beach, Westheimer location, and the people are really nice, but if you're planning to take advantage of spa services often, you may want to use another location. Because this location is small, there's only 1 of each of the spa services like hydration and facial, etc. So, times are often booked and it's hard to get in for your services.
