it was our first visit to The Plaid Turnip, and we arrived by 5 pm. There was one other couple there, when we ordered the crab dip for an appetizer, we were advised they were out of it. Therefore, we decided on another appetizer. We began to order our dinner, and asked for a baked potato. Only to learn , we are out of those. Our server wasn't very polished and was a wee bit slow,but her sweetness and gentle demeanor more than made up for it❤️ The food portions are HUGE and the food wonderful!! We'll so definitely be going back.. and asking for the same waitress.. Don't know her name,she didn't tell us.. lol 🙈 and that's ok.. I'll ask next time.✌️
This is the place to have breakfast or brunch! The grits are perfection, great bacon, amazing pancakes and creative omelettes!
Love this restaurant! Everything I’ve ever eaten here has been great!
