The service was quick. The food portions were huge and delicious! Would reccomend to anyone who is down in Suffolk.
Chicken salad cold plate is one of my favorites. We enjoy our meals there and highly recommend The Plaid Turnip 👍🏻
Great service despite the crowd; well worth the short wait for a table and for our food. Obviously has a good reputation. Glad we made the trip! Pancakes as big as your face; didn't even get to try them because everything else was so filling. The fried oysters are some of the best I've ever had--will definitely be back for more of them!
I love the food but the wait is crazy. Very poor service and it's a shame because I live right up the street but don't choose Plaid Turnip because of service. I would go maybe once a week for breakfast if I knew my toddler wouldn't be waiting for a pancake for 30+ mins. I know many people who feel the same way!

Incredible food and great service! It was my first time here and will definitely be back. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive!
The price was good! The food was great taste n quantity! Service was swift and our waitress was attentive. A definite revisit and great way to celebrate a special occasion.
We've only been there one time and unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. Food was fine but a very small portion for the price we paid. Service was ridiculously slow. The waitress mentioned they were short staffed in the kitchen but we decided to give them a shot. I couldn't believe it took 45 minutes to have our food and we were only a party of two! Waitress never came back to refill our drinks! I had high expectations but hopefully I will have a chance to be back and give them a better review!
Yesterday was the first time I had been there. I thought our waitress was great and the food was yummy! Not only that, the prices were very reasonable. I definitely look forward to going back again and I would recommend it to anybody.
