STAY AWAY! the location is great and the photos fool you into thinking is a nice place… the rooms are veeery run down and need mayor maintenance. We arrived and they tried to put us on a room in the basement (not what we payed for and the photos from the room we selected in Airbnb) the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. They moved us to another room. The room layout was ok but it is just not maintained at all.. see photos

CHAOTIC and INCOMPREHENSIBLE check-in procedures. We arrived slightly after midnight. The doors were locked. We rang the bell to try to hv the security guard to open the doors for us, but she did not (we later were told she did not have the authority to). Luckily a guest allowed us in. The guard told us we had to use the ipad at the lobby to check in. The ipad check in process could not work completely cos its camera could not auto-capture data from a passport. I ran into an issue with my reservation and Rochelle was incredibly accommodating and went out of her way to help me fix it, saving me a lot of stress. Truly excellent customer service.
This is the loveliest one bedroom apartment we have rented on Airbnb. It’s in an historic building, built in 1903. Gorgeous finishes. Our unit had the huge balcony facing the park. The amenities were perfect. We will stay here whenever we need a place in DC. And the location on DuPont Circle has it all.
