The food was excellent, my date and I were so full we had to take some with us. I will definitely be back. I can't wait to try the pizza! The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was what you expect in an Italian restaurant. 5 stars
great food and great service.
Food was very good but our server was neglectful, inattentive and had zero warmth/personality. Never came back to check on us after food was delivered. No refills on water or beers. Had to ask for plates. Little things that, well just added up. Thats enough to NOT come back. Its to bad. I love spending money eating great food with my family but now this place is off the list. Hope your server is better than ours. Hats off to the Chef though.
Hands down the best Neapolitan style pizza in Tampa. Quite a few Italian eateries serve pizza from a traditional style oven but I keep coming back to Bavaro’s and their margherita pizza! The dough is light and chewy thanks to their live yeast and the sauce is simple yet I’m convinced addictive! Melty mozzarella and fresh basil round out the perfect mouthful. THE best pie in about 90 seconds, excellent service and staff! I highly recommend!
I’ve always loved going to the Downtown Tampa location. You always know what to expect. Excellent food, staff and a very comfortable atmosphere. One of thee only places that’s take out is just as good as their dine in presentation. Highly recommend.
Wood fired pizza, great meatballs with ricotta. A nice surprise this evening for such a nice meal.
