Called in my order at 5:09 pm and was told it would be ready for pickup in 45-50 minutes. Walked in the door at 6:15 pm and they couldn't find our order. They found it finally sitting by the phone. Said to give them 20 minutes and they would have it ready and take 1/2 off. Here it is 7:15 pm and they made our order and lost it again. So 2 hrs later and still no food. This used to be my favorite pizza place to go and now I will find somewhere else.

I called and ordered Pizza King on Grand Avenue at 6pm. A medium pizza and chicken strips for my son. It’s 8pm and it’s still not here. I have a 19 month old that is supposed to go to bed right now. When I called them to check on the order I was told.. “That one is coming through the oven now.. it’ll be the next one out for you” - um.. two hours later? That is absolutely not acceptable. Called and ordered 2 pizzas and 2 orders of breadsticks at 5:25 it is now 7 I still have not received my order. Tried calling got hung up on and then called back got put on hold for 3 minutes still on hold!!! This place has the worst service and I will definitely not be going back for either dine in or carry out!

We called into the pizza king on Nichol in Anderson. We ordered a large Chicken Ranch pizza. We were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. We picked it up in 15 minutes. The ride to and from there is 10 minutes. Our pizza was Luke warm. It is the last time I will eat their pizza.
I called in a carry out order. Got here & paid for it. Well they forgot to make it. So I say okay & wait. Well 20 minutes later they say what are you waiting on? I said my pizza!! They forgot to make it again! Will never be back! Second time this has happened! Gave them a second chance! Lesson learned!
Order to go waited 20 min got there no food forgot to make it waited an hour to get to go order not a great experience
When coming back home to Anderson, there is just about always one night that entails Pizza King! Great pizza, fantastic buttery/garlic breadsticks, and if at the restaurant, you get to “ring-the-king” from your table to place your order. Just an overall good experience!
Good pizza, awesome bread sticks, good prices and good service. Love the phone in the booth to 'call-in' your order.
