The success of Pizza By Alex is due to many factors including fine service, courteous employees, but above all, excellent pizza because there is no substitute for quality!

We come up all the way from Peabody MA, it is excellent.
The pizza is definitely tasty and the place has a real retro vibe. It started in 1960 and very little has changed since the last time I was there in the 1970s as a college student. They stick to a formula...only 10 inch pizzas and no alcoholic beverages. I was disappointed that they didn't take credit cards and apparently DID have an ATM on site, but the counter person failed to inform me of that. The majic's gone from the old days so has the flavor, service and the price is truly out of touch for what's offered right down to puny puny drinks. Ate they forever.....had my last after bragging to my gf and taking her there as I toured my old hometown.... Was nothing like I'd promised her or my memories...
Amazing place!!! We had the sausage but I am quite sure each are just as delicious! Already can't wait to return!!
First and foremost, I'm an admitted pizza snob from NY. With that being said, I can appreciate other styles of pizza (Chicago Deep, Cali Flat etc), but I mostly end up saying things like "it's not bad for being Non-NY Pizza". Conversely, this was simply amazing on any scale. They sell pizza. Only pizza. One size. Tons of varieties. They know what they do well and that's what they do. The pizza was not worth the price and the employees working there are rude. I won't go back. Can't understand the appeal of this place.
