It all started on an average day in 1966 when a man named Bob Marsh pulled up in front of what was once Pizza Loy's. His cab broke down in front of a help wanted sign, so he walked right in. For years, Bob helped us craft the food on our menu that Ann Arbor residents and U of M students have come to love. (That includes the now-famous chipati: we're where it all started!) Love their shakes and the Chipati- best food ever.
So happy that Pizza Bob's has maintained the excellent menu it had so many years ago when I labored there as a late teenager and twenty-something. I can still remember the luscious taste of a Roger's Chipati and an L.S. Delight as well as all of the other great subs and pizza. Never found another place that had as good of a crust as Pizza Bob's. Thanks for keeping a great place going without changing what makes it great!
