For a practice where treatments are daily for a month or more, Pittsburgh Neurocare Center is a place that clearly wants the best for their for their patients and provides a relaxing environment to match. Dr. Barwell and Mary are so great! TMS is very different from other treatments and they do a wonderful job of educating and communicating with their patients. I received TMS treatment at Pittsburgh Neurocare. It’s a smaller practice with a tight-knit group of providers. Dr. Michelle Barwell is an excellent psychiatrist, and the nurse (Mary) who does the daily treatments is wonderful. I went in to the situation with realistic expectations, knowing this wouldn’t necessarily be a “cure” to my depression, but would certainly aid in lessening it.
