Thanksgiving, I celebrate 17 years survivorship from Lobular Breast Cancer. Drs. Pittman and Abney performed the bilateral mastectomies and reconstruction in one surgery. I was a Nurse at Hartwell Family Practice at the time and worked with Margaret Smith in the clinic office. Today I met her at Royston Diagnostic, where I was a patient for another issue.
